He was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a gun battle while at a bar on Wilder Street. The incident occurred around 2:32 a.m., and Chattanooga Police responded to the scene to find Jimmy McCane shot and killed. Kristy Foster, 39, was also injured in the incident, but her injuries were not life-threatening.
