Malcolm London, a 46-year-old male of African American ethnicity, was fatally shot on November 13, 2016, in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on the 700 block of South 7th Street in the James Cayce public housing development. Malcolm was shot from the driver's side window of a silver Hyundai Sonata, which then sped away. He was found lying on the ground in the grass, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
