Shanice Amerson, a 21-year-old woman from Dyersburg, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on November 17, 2016. She was killed during a birthday party for her 2-year-old son when an unidentified man opened fire on the crowd. Seven other people were injured in the shooting, including two young boys. Shanice Amerson was a mother of two and her death was a devastating loss for her family and community.
