On March 26, 2023, 19-year-old Auri’A Battles was fatally shot in Dyersburg, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Joseph Avenue. Emergency responders transported Battles to West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg, where she was pronounced dead.
