In the Frayser neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee, a dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion on May 26, 2017, ending the life of Dominique White. A 29-year-old woman, she was shot and killed following an argument at the Whitney Manor Apartments located on St. Charles Drive. Emergency responders found her at the scene, but she had already succumbed to her injuries.
The conflict that led to the shooting was reportedly over a cable television connection.
Following an investigation into the deadly encounter, Memphis police identified and apprehended a suspect. Glen Anthony Rivers was taken into custody and faced several charges related to the incident.
Rivers was charged with second-degree murder for the death of White. In addition to the murder charge, he also faced five counts of attempted murder. Dominique White was a mother of two children.
