On November 11, 2017, 21-year-old Devonte Wilkerson, a male of African American ethnicity, was fatally shot at an apartment on Beech Street in Clarksville, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 11:08 p.m. when multiple calls were made to the 911 center reporting shots fired.
