Brett D. Rodgers, a 20-year-old Black male from Kingsport, Tennessee, tragically died on March 2, 2018. He was shot at the Hog Wild Saloon in Kingsport around 2:00 AM. When police arrived, they found Rodgers lying unresponsive on the floor, and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Another victim, a 16-year-old Black male from Bristol, Virginia, was also shot but survived with serious injuries.
