In the late spring of 2018, a tragedy unfolded in the Chattanooga, Tennessee community of Hixson, ending the life of 48-year-old Kimberly Phillips. On the morning of Sunday, May 20th, Phillips was found in the parking lot of a local gas station, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
