Alan Lyle Jansma, a 43-year-old Caucasian male, was fatally shot on September 7, 2018, in the parking lot of a McDonald's in Hampton, Tennessee. The incident occurred in the afternoon, and Jansma was pronounced dead at the scene. Following an investigation by the Carter County Sheriff's Office, 64-year-old Steve Mack Miller was identified as the suspect.
