In the summer of 2017, a Black male named Christopher Stewart, 43, was fatally wounded in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred after 9 p.m. on July 14th, near the 4100 block of Peck Street. Stewart was discovered having been shot multiple times in his torso and leg.
