In the afternoon of May 5, 2015, a young Black man named Kency Roberson, aged 21, was fatally shot in north St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred around 2:52 p.m. in a parking lot located in the 6000 block of Natural Bridge Avenue. When St. Louis police officers arrived at the scene following reports of a shooting, they discovered Roberson unconscious. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his torso and was pronounced dead at the location.
