In the autumn of 2018, the life of 29-year-old Kevin Webster, a Black/African American male from Memphis, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. On September 26, 2018, Webster was the victim of a fatal shooting, a violent end to a young life that would leave a lasting impact on his family and the community. The circumstances of his death prompted a thorough investigation by the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office as they worked to piece together the events that led to the deadly encounter.
The investigation into the shooting death of Kevin Webster soon led to the identification of several individuals believed to be involved. Iasia J. Webster was identified as a primary suspect, and the investigation culminated in her arrest. She faced a series of serious charges, including First Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Reckless Endangerment.
