In the small town of Middleton, Tennessee, the life of Deon Edward Turner, a 31-year-old African American man, was violently cut short on March 22, 2019. The tragic event unfolded during what appeared to be a home invasion at a residence on Britts Chapel Lane. In the chaos of that day, not only was Turner killed, but a woman at the home was also seriously injured in the shooting.
