Marcus DeWayne Powell, a 20-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on May 10, 2019, in Memphis, TN. Powell was fatally shot during an incident in the Frayser neighborhood. The incident occurred when Darunn Turner, who was involved in a dispute with his 14-year-old son, returned to the home and opened fire. Powell, who was present at the scene, was struck by the gunfire and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
