In the summer of 2019, the life of 25-year-old Daicori Saunders, a Black/African American male, was cut short in a fatal shooting in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. On the night of June 21st, police responded to a disturbance call at an apartment complex on Manor Street. Shortly after, Saunders was discovered lying on the ground in the 1300 block of Eagle Street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
