In the late hours of a September weekend in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, a young man's life was abruptly ended by an act of violence that appeared to be as senseless as it was tragic. Marquis Turner, a 21-year-old male visiting from Illinois, was fatally shot on September 8, 2019.
