Marquis Turner, a 21-year-old male from Illinois, was fatally shot in the early hours of September 8, 2019, near the corner of Halls Hill Pike and Journey Drive in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Turner was visiting Murfreesboro when he was killed. The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m., and Turner was pronounced dead at the hospital.
