Death by Force

Derell D. Simmons, aged 29, was shot and killed in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 2, 2017. The incident took place at approximately 9:12 PM on August 31, when officers were dispatched to the area of 9805 Newton in response to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found Derell with gunshot wounds. He was initially transported to the hospital by a private vehicle, but despite efforts to save his life, Derell was pronounced dead on September 2, 2017.
