On September 3, 2017, Dominique D. Jefferson, age 34, was found shot to death in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident took place in the 4200 block of East 59th Street, and police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers located Jefferson suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite emergency medical efforts, Jefferson was pronounced dead at the scene.
