In the early hours of a February morning in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 25-year-old Destiny Wilkins was tragically cut short. On February 24, 2020, what began as a planned date with a man she and her friend had met online turned into a scene of brutal violence. Inside a parked car in southeast Shelby County, an argument erupted, and the man, later identified as Darrin Walker, became enraged and opened fire on both women.
