On a summer evening in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the life of 21-year-old Davon Terrell Sherrer was tragically cut short. On July 18, 2020, in the 2000 block of Tunnel Boulevard, gunshots shattered the day's calm. A nearby police officer was flagged down and directed to a driveway where Sherrer lay, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the prompt response, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
