On a Friday evening in Nashville, Tennessee, 32-year-old Isiah Meneese was fatally shot inside his place of employment. The shooting occurred on December 18, 2020, at approximately 7 p.m. at the House of Legends, a business located on Jefferson Street. Responding officers discovered Meneese inside the closed establishment with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was quickly transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The initial investigation by Homicide Unit detectives revealed a chilling sequence of events. After Meneese entered the building, two unidentified men were seen exiting a black four-door sedan and following him inside. Moments later, the same two men were seen running from the building and fleeing the scene in the same vehicle.
At the time of the initial reports, the motive for the deadly shooting remained under investigation.
