Death by Force

On January 12, 2021, Damien Johnson, a 25-year-old man from Laurel, Mississippi, was shot and killed at the Overton Brentwood Apartments in South Nashville, Tennessee. Johnson was visiting his girlfriend when an argument broke out between them and Corbin Rashard Arrington, who lived with Johnson's girlfriend. The situation escalated, and Arrington pulled out a pistol, shooting Johnson and dragging him out of the apartment. Johnson's girlfriend called 911, and Arrington fled the scene.
