Jirah Gregory, a 19-year-old from Jackson, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on February 24, 2021, following a targeted shooting at a north Jackson apartment complex. The incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. at the Cherry Grove apartments on Friars Point Road. Gregory was one of two individuals injured in the shooting, with the other victim, an 18-year-old, sustaining serious injuries.
