On a summer evening in North Plainfield, New Jersey, the lives of a family were irrevocably altered by a burst of gunfire. Christian Orellana, a 31-year-old male from Plainfield, was spending time with his cousins on the patio of an apartment at the Malcolm Gardens Apartment Complex on August 13, 2021.
