Zachary Michael Lee Pearce, a 24-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on December 4, 2017, near the intersection of 40th and Walnut. The incident occurred as Zachary and a friend were walking home from the Westport area. The pair were targeted by suspects driving a blue SUV, who approached them with the intent to rob.
