In the late summer of 2023, the life of 33-year-old Alexxandre Morris was cut short in a fatal shooting in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri. The incident unfolded on the evening of Tuesday, August 29th, near the intersection of 33rd Street and Lawn Avenue. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the scene just after 7 p.m. in response to reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered Morris on the sidewalk, having sustained gunshot wounds.
