In the summer of 2025, a visit to Kansas City, Missouri, for 17-year-old William R. Watson turned tragic, cutting short a life that was just beginning to unfold. The young man, who had recently relocated to Texas with his family for a better life and was preparing to get his driver's license, was back in his former hometown when violence irrevocably altered his future.
