Donta K. Reed, a 19-year-old male from Hermitage, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on April 21, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee. Reed was fatally shot during an altercation that took place inside a hotel room at the Rodeway Inn on Murfreesboro Pike. The incident occurred late Wednesday night, and Reed was pronounced dead at the scene. The other individual involved in the altercation, a 36-year-old man from Hartsville, Tennessee, was shot in the abdomen and hospitalized at Vanderbilt University
