In the early morning hours of August 22, 2021, the life of 43-year-old Aisha Cates, a female resident of Knoxville, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. Gun violence erupted in the Walter P. Taylor Homes neighborhood, and Cates was found unresponsive next to a vehicle, having sustained a gunshot wound.
