In the early morning hours of October 23, 2020, a heated verbal argument between a young couple in Knoxville, Tennessee, ended in tragedy. Sage Alice Zhi McElroy, a 21-year-old woman, was fatally shot by her boyfriend, Caelan Greenfield. The incident occurred on Gleason Drive, where McElroy was later found deceased inside her vehicle from a chest wound. She was of mixed ethnicity.
