In the early morning hours of a spring Sunday in Knoxville, Tennessee, the life of 32-year-old Rekia Marshea 'Shea' Kinnebrew was tragically cut short. On May 20, 2018, what began as an argument between several people escalated into fatal violence. In a hail of gunfire that shattered the pre-dawn quiet, Rekia was struck multiple times. The initial crime scene was identified as 3217 East Fifth Avenue, but she was found several blocks away at the corner of South Cherry Street and Magnolia Avenue. ...
