Katherine Lela Mae Ewing, aged 37, was the victim of a brutal homicide on September 26, 1981, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Ewing's body was discovered by a fisherman named Benny George in Fort Loudon Lake. It was evident that she had been weighed down with cinderblock pieces, an indication that there was an attempt to conceal her body underwater.
