Jefasha Lashai Mitchell, a 26-year-old woman from Knoxville, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on July 16, 2022. She was found shot in a car parked in an alley on Louise Avenue in East Knoxville. Responding officers attempted life-saving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Mitchell's death has been declared a homicide, and the Knoxville Police Department launched an investigation.
