Jessica Davis, a 22-year-old woman from Knoxville, Tennessee, tragically died on April 16, 2018. She was involved in a fatal altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Jacquiz I. McBee, who was 25 years old at the time. The incident occurred at Davis's apartment on Bakertown Road in West Knox County. During an argument, Davis reportedly grabbed a handgun and pointed it at McBee. A struggle ensued over the weapon, and during this struggle, the gun discharged, striking Davis and resulting in her death.
