Who killed Lorie Ann Mealer Pennell?
On January 24, 1985, the body of Lorie Ann Mealer Pennell was discovered along Highway 78 in Olive Branch, Mississippi. She had been strangled to death, and her identity remained unknown for nearly 40 years. A truck driver passing through the area spotted her body, which led authorities to launch an investigation. However, despite an autopsy confirming her death as a homicide, no immediate leads emerged.
