A beloved mother is shot multiple times while in her Brookhaven, MS home In the summer of 2015, a 43-year-old mother named Bridget Hall was tragically killed in her Brookhaven, Mississippi, home. A well-known and beloved member of her community, Hall was a phlebotomist and a talented singer who had even earned a singing scholarship to Jackson State University. She was known as a peacemaker and, ironically, was in the process of helping to organize a 'Stop the Violence' event for her community in the weeks leading up to her death.
