In the summer of 2015, Bridget Hall, a 43-year-old Black female, was a beloved mother of four and a well-known peacemaker in her Brookhaven, Mississippi community. Her life was tragically cut short on the night of July 6th, when she was fatally shot multiple times at close range after answering a knock at her door on Vivian Merritt Street.
