Justin Alexis Flores, a 27-year-old Hispanic man, was killed during a violent robbery on the evening of November 23, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was visiting his girlfriend at the time, bringing her food when the attack occurred.

The incident took place around 7:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on Brook Tree Circle in southeast Memphis. As Justin arrived, he was ambushed by two men who attacked him and stole his wallet, keys, and cellphone. Justin managed to escape and ran to find help, but one of his attackers shot him as he fled. The assailants then found him a short distance away and shot him again before leaving the scene.

Justin was rushed to a hospital, but he died from his injuries. Investigators later confirmed he had suffered two gunshot wounds to the head and two to his right shoulder.

The investigation led police to identify two suspects in the case: Dacon Dixon, then 20, and Oluwafemi Bolumole, then 24. In June 2022, a Shelby County grand jury returned indictments against both men. They were charged with first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, attempted carjacking, employment of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony, and aggravated assault.

Following the indictments, both Dixon and Bolumole were held in the Shelby County Jail. As of June 2022, their cases were proceeding through the court system.
