On the evening of March 26, 2023, at approximately 7:20 PM, Lompoc Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at 321 W. North Avenue in Lompoc, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Ivan Lopez-Lopez lying on the ground, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. The incident occurred within a mobile home park, where Lopez-Lopez was reportedly working on his car at the time of the shooting.
