Justin Kevon Pankey, a 21-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Humboldt, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on November 30, 2021. He was fatally shot in the lobby of the Thomas Boykin Gymnasium at Humboldt High School during a basketball game between Humboldt High School and North Side High School from Jackson, Tennessee. The incident occurred when shots were fired outside the gym near the concession stand, leaving Pankey dead at the scene and two others injured.
