On May 20, 2022, Alex Erik Miller, a 42-year-old truck driver from Edgewood, Maryland, was fatally shot in Kingsport, Tennessee. The incident occurred on Interstate 81 near Exit 63 when Miller's tractor-trailer came into contact with another tractor-trailer driven by a 34-year-old man whose identity has not been disclosed by the police.
