In the Orebank community of Kingsport, Tennessee, the life of Rickey D. Busick, a 45-year-old White male, was cut short on May 12, 2021. Busick was fatally shot in an incident that stunned the local community. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, bystanders took swift action, detaining a female suspect until law enforcement could arrive.
