In the late morning of September 14, 2023, the life of 26-year-old Daniel Ardo Cano Preciado was tragically cut short in the Lynn Garden community of Kingsport, Tennessee. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire in the Akers Avenue area around 11:48 a.m. and discovered Cano Preciado suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to Holston Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
At the scene of the shooting, police detained 30-year-old Michael Garcia.
