Demontae Darden Newsom, an 18-year-old male, was fatally shot on the night of June 11, 2022, during a pool party at the Cambridge at Hickory Hollow Apartments in Antioch, Tennessee. The chaotic scene erupted after a dispute at the large gathering, leading to an exchange of gunfire that left another man, 20-year-old Kalem Burford, dead and two others wounded.
