In the fall of 2022, a life was tragically cut short at a Memphis bus stop, leaving a family heartbroken and a community seeking answers. Thomas Bonner, a 43-year-old Black man, was waiting on Union Avenue on the evening of October 8th when a verbal dispute erupted. What began as an exchange of words with a stranger quickly and senselessly escalated into fatal violence.
