Napoleon Brooks, a 35-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 14, 2022, in Memphis, Tennessee. Brooks was fatally shot in the lower back at around 9:10 p.m. at Chickasaw Place Apartments on Mimosa Avenue in the Binghampton neighborhood. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
