He was discovered shot and killed in the stairwell of the apartment building at 5301 Chicago Ave. S. in Minneapolis, where he lived with his girlfriend, Andrea Hintz. It was Hintz who made the devastating discovery of his body.
Neighbors in the building reported hearing what they thought were firecrackers around 2:00 a.m., a sound that turned out to be the fatal gunshots that ended Fisher's life.
