Male Ali Yassin Ismael, a 23-year-old Somali man, was shot and killed in Minneapolis on October 26, 2009, while sitting in a parked car near Nicollet Avenue South. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner determined that he died from multiple gunshot wounds, and the case remains unsolved. Police responded to the shooting shortly after 1 a.m., but no suspects were immediately identified, and no arrests have been made since then.
