In the quiet Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Park, a grim discovery was made on September 6, 2023, shattering the calm of the Strawberry Commons condominiums. Eric Darnell Holmes, a 54-year-old Black male, was found unresponsive in his home by his nephew. The relative had gone to check on him, only to be met with a bloody scene that prompted an immediate call to law enforcement.
