Julie Harding, a 49-year-old woman, was found dead on December 10, 2022, in Clay County, Tennessee. She was a California Highway Patrol captain on extended leave from the Yuba-Sutter area. Julie's death came just days after her estranged husband, Michael Harding, was found shot to death in a vacant home in Burkesville, Kentucky, in September 2022. Michael's death is being investigated as a homicide, and authorities suspect it may have been part of a murder-for-hire plot.
